Uruguay 2017

We have just finished our Ornithological campaign to Uruguay, November 2017 . Our goal was to collect bird blood samples and specimens of certain specific species (i.e. Limnoctites rectirostris), as well as of many other species from marshes and grasslands of the Pampas region.

This campaign had support of CONICET (Argentina), environmental agencies of Uruguay, ass well as private support from the Family Rodriguez Cajarville and the Pytanga farm. Participants were: María José Rodriguez Cajarville, Natalia García, Ana Barreira and myself (Gustavo Sebastián Cabanne).
