Palmares de Rocha at dusk, very beautiful. I was surprised to see that "palmares" (palm tree fields) are very abundant in Uruguay, and apparently more abundant than in Argentina.

We travel to Uruguay to collect biological samples for the projects running at our Division.

Preparing birds in the field

One of our targets! Limnoctites rectirostris

Our best "asado"

Nest of Limnoctites rectirostris

Nest of Xolmis irupero, with three nestlings - almost fledglings-
